RESUME

about me

Born and raised in Miami, FL., I moved to Chicago in 2016 to pursue a masters in Public Relations and Advertising at DePaul University. Prior to my move, I graduated from Florida International University (FIU) with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts and worked at the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine in FIU for 5 years. I am a first-generation American who was born into a Dominican family and I am very passionate about Diversity and Inclusion.

In the summer of 2016, I worked as a Lead Instructor for Public Relations & Communications at Midtown Center for Boys, which allows students to learn about the roles in communications and teach them about careers in communications, while also developing technical skills related to these fields and being exposed to the demands of these fields through their own projects. In spring of 2017, I became the Digital Intern at MSL Group in Chicago where I worked with various clients, like Midtown Athletic Club and Bradley Corporations, helping improve social media presence. Currently, I am the Public Relations Coordinator at Jacobson Rost, a marketing communications agency, working on client campaigns for Potbelly Sandwich Shops, Kalahari Resorts, and BOSS Snowplow.

My interests include exploring Chicago neighborhoods, watching the Cubs win, CrossFit morning sessions and geeking out over the latest superhero movies.
